About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to work full-time as an Unqualified Teacher / Classroom Supervisor in a secondary school in Tonypandy. You will be responsible for overseeing pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects for pupils in Years 7–11. This is not a planning role—all lesson materials are provided. Your focus will be on maintaining a positive learning environment, managing behaviour effectively, and building strong relationships with pupils and staff. Key Responsibilities Supervise whole-class lessons using pre-prepared materials Maintain classroom order and manage challenging behaviour confidently Engage students and ensure they remain on task Build rapport with pupils across different age groups and abilities Collaborate with teaching staff and follow school policies Act quickly and calmly in a fast-paced environment What We’re Looking For A confident, friendly, and adaptable individual Strong behaviour management skills (or willingness to develop them) Ability to think on your feet and use initiative Comfortable working across a range of subjects Passion for working with young people and education Ideal Backgrounds Aspiring teachers or education professionals Sports coaches or sporty individuals Graduates Ex-public services (e.g., military, police, emergency services) Requirements Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including core subjects such as English and Maths) Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK Why Apply?
